Chunky Sterling Silver Roundmaille Bracelet

We have been busy putting out orders and working on other projects so we haven’t been putting up many new projects; so I would like to proudly show you our latest piece, you may have seen this before but not is this ring size and gauge. This is a sterling silver roundmaille bracelet made using 18ga awg 4mm rings, this is the chunkiest one we’ve made to date. Most of our roundmaille pieces have been either 19ga or 20 ga, so making this piece in 18ga was nice. It feels substantial on the wrist as it has a little weight. This piece was made as a special order for one of our returning customers. The bracelet is actually 9″ long as is it made to fit a man 6′ 6″ tall, so I just used my own wrist to size it as I’m 6′ 3″ and figured I’d be close enough LOL . In the new year we are planning on revamping this website and adding a whole bunch of new products. We have been so busy with shows and life in general that we neglected updating this site as much as we could or should. Anyway hang in there to the new year and hopefully you will see some pretty cool changes to site and pieces of chainmaille to make you smile.

Sterling Silver and Copper Roundmaille Necklace

This necklace is just downright silky. The roundmaille weave just slithers in your hand. This Chainmaille Necklace is made with solid copper and sterling silver wire and measures 18 inches long. It is setup in a blocked pattern of sterling and silver blocks. This piece is held secure with a sterling silver lobster clasp. The thing I love about this roundmaille necklace is how the different color metals draw your eye to the piece, definitely a show stopper. All of our chainmaille jewelry is made with our own hand cut rings, we start with solid bare wire and coil and cut our own jump rings for perfect closures. Bronze is a metal that reminds me of ancient statues and gives me a warm feeling.

This roundmaille chainmaille pattern is made from solid bronze and is 7.5″ long. It is held secure with a handmade “S” clasp and can be resized to your needs. Copper is such a warm earthy metal and these earrings will not dissapoint. This roundmaille chainmaille pattern is made from solid copper the earrings are 1″ long from the base of the earwire . Chainmaille (chainmail) with a twist!

This beauty can be worn everyday to dress up any outfit. Pretty garnet rounds separate the 1” (2 cm) sections of the classic roundmaille weave made with sterling silver. The clasp is a sterling silver filigree push/pull style that is as pretty as the bracelet. If you would prefer a traditional lobster clasp, I would be happy to change is out for you.

This bracelet currently measures 7 ½” (19 cm) from clasp to clasp. If you need it sized, just contact us or put a note to seller upon checkout and I will be happy to fix it just for you.

If your not interested in the garnets this bracelet is also available in copper or silver without any gem stones.

Sterling Silver Roundmaille Bracelet

Roundmaille is one of my favorites to make and wear.
This chainmaille bracelet began its life as a coil of silver wire. It was then hand coiled and cut into a pile of shimmering rings. These little rings were then woven, one by one, into a classic roundmaille patterned bracelet. It is heavy enough to get noticed, but airy enough to allow the intricate weave to be seen.
This bracelet measures 7 1/2 inches (19 cm) from the end to the solid sterling lobster clasp.
This piece can be custom sized to fit you. Just add a note to the seller upon checkout and I will be happy to adjust this piece for a custom fit.
