We buy all of our anodized rings but still coil and cut our own bright aluminum rings for tight closures. Byzantine and Tryzatine Chainmaille Bracelets

Well we’ve been busy trying to keep stock up. Sales have been good and stuff just keeps going out the door. We just re-made our Sterling and Copper Tryzantine Bracelet and our Sterling Silver and Copper Byzantine Bracelet. These lovely bracelets sold at our last show on Saturday, so off to cutting rings and weaving away. Anyway the pieces have been re-made are currently in our polisher getting all bright and shiny. So there is still time to pick these up for Christmas.

Chunky Copper Byzantine Unisex Bracelet

This stunning, copper chainmaille bracelet would be great for a man or women, with its chunky size it lays just right. This bracelet is sized at 8″, but we will re-size it to your specifications free of charge. All of our chainmaille is made from scratch using solid wire, in this case copper, and coiling and saw cutting each individual ring. We then weave each ring together to create our patterns, Byzantine is one of my favorite weaves with its subtle intricacies. This bracelet is held secure with a handmade “S” clasp that has been hammered and tempered to size.

Aluminum Rosettes and Byzantine Chainmaille ID Badge Lanyard

This bright aluminum lanyard is made using Rosettes and a Byzantine chainmaille weave that goes with anything. Bright Aluminum is ultra light so that you quickly forget that you are wearing it. The bright silver has the look of sterling silver so it becomes a dressy accessory instead of just utilitarian. This piece measures 36 inches making it perfect for slipping over your head-no more fumbling with clasps. The set comes complete with a swivel clip, a split ring for keys, and a clip ID/Badge holder. Each piece is removable; if you only need one piece or another you can easily customize your lanyard. If you like the idea, but this weave is not for you, let me know and we will make a custom piece just for you out of any weave you see on our sight. Byzantine Kit and Tutorial

This tutorial is a detailed step by step on how to make a Byzantine chainmaille weave. We have painstakingly made these instructions so that a beginner will be able to go through without a problem. The tutorial is full of pictures which graphically guide you through each step. We will offer full support for any questions you may have while working on your piece. The downloadable file is in PDF format, if you don’t have a PDF reader you can download it for free.

Our kits will have enough rings in it to make a nine inch bracelet with a couple extra just in case you have a mistake. The rings will all be polished and smooth and of the utmost of quality, if you don’t want your rings polished just let us know by adding a note a checkout. The kit will also contain the tutorial and a lobster clasp. You will need two pair of pliers to construct your bracelet, the pliers are obviously not included.

Below you can get a kit with sterling , copper, and a sterling and copper combination. If you are interested in refills or a different metal combination just send us an email and we’ll hook you up.

Copper Byzantine Cubed Bracelet

This byzantine bracelet measures 7.5″ in length and is separated by 4 Japanese 8 & 2 cubes. The cubes are separated by 6mm indian agates. The cubes and agate are strung on copper wire so that they can move freely on the piece for those of you who like to play with your jewelry. This piece is held secure with a handmade “S” clasp.
