This 18 inch (48 cm) necklace is made of solid copper wire; hand coiled and saw cut, and then woven into a classic Byzantine pattern. It closes with a copper toggle clasp.The copper used for this piece is solid, not plated, so you don’t have to worry about the plating wearing off. Right now this piece is bright and shiny, like a new penny, but copper does darken with age. If you prefer bright, any copper cleaner will keep it looking new.
