The toggle is handmade from sterling silver wire that was wrapped this way and that to create a one of a kind look to finish off this bracelet. This piece currently measures 8 inches end to end but actually fits like a 7 1/2. All of my chainmaille pieces can be adjusted for length. Let me know in the notes to seller box upon checkout and I will happily adjust it for you. I can also create any piece in a different metal-stainless steel, aluminum, copper, bronze or brass. This bracelet is intermixed with classic byzantine chain and sea glass found locally on the Jersey Shore. The sea glass is an intermiting pattern of brown and white with sterling silver daisy beads seperating the glass pieces. The bracelet weighs just under an ounce of hand coiled and cut sterling silver rings, woven together into a classic Byzantine Chainmail pattern. It is securely closed with a sterling lobster clasp.The bracelet measures 7.5 inches from clasp to clasp but can be easily adjusted for a custom fit. Now this bracelet is one of a kind as each piece of sea glass is unique. We can however remake this bracelet with a variety of colors and combinations. We have glass in our collection that is blue, various shades of green and brown, and white. Depending on the color varieties you want the price may vary especially with blue. Blue is hard to come by around here and is highly sought after. Yeah people get excited about blue, anyway just contact us and we can design a custom piece for you.
This beauty can be worn everyday to dress up any outfit. Pretty garnet rounds separate the 1” (2 cm) sections of the classic roundmaille weave made with sterling silver. The clasp is a sterling silver filigree push/pull style that is as pretty as the bracelet. If you would prefer a traditional lobster clasp, I would be happy to change is out for you. This bracelet currently measures 7 ½” (19 cm) from clasp to clasp. If you need it sized, just contact us or put a note to seller upon checkout and I will be happy to fix it just for you. If your not interested in the garnets this bracelet is also available in copper or silver without any gem stones.
Definitely an eye catcher! Just goes to show that chainmaille (chainmail) can be so glamorous. I have sold more of these-usually off my wrist-than any other pattern that I make.
