Oh, one other thing… You may want to consider adding a small 7 – 8 inch 20 gauge 3-5 mm chain to the top spine of the design to make an attached page marker. It is more work on top of the days that it already takes to make the cover, but I think that it would be that extra touch to put this design over the top. Just a thought…

I like the idea. I worked for Gypsy Teague many years ago, and we always used these machine cut rings. They always seem to have a few that would scratch you, so my recommendation on your next bible project would be to use the saw cut rings. If anyone later decided to remove the bible from the chainmail cover, there would be less (some, no doubt) damage to the book cover. Way to go though. Making mental notes on many of your designs.
